roasted cauliflower with cheese
In case you didn't know, I suffer from very high cholesterol.
Determined not to start a program of statin intake, I have tried to fight it with exercise and diet. Neither has yielded much result and my numbers keep climbing.
Now the AHA (American Heart Association) has new guidelines for treating high cholesterol. Where cholesterol level used to be the deciding factor in treating with statins, they are now looking at the whole human being. Is he over weight? Does she smoke? Is he diabetic? Does she lead a sedentary life? All of these are thought to be just as important when deciding whether or not to use statins.
At last I am vindicated in my refusal to use this drug!!
So... bring on the cheese (in moderation).
